‘Terminal Samsung Galaxy S5’ launched at Heathrow
Heathrow Terminal 5 has become a marketing platform for the Samsung Galaxy S5, the Korean manufacturer’s latest smartphone, from today.
As one of the busiest terminals at Heathrow, holiday-makers and business professionals will be departing from ‘Terminal Samsung Galaxy S5’, as part of a marketing stunt.
Inside the rebranded terminal, Dixons Travel will be offering people the chance to sample the Samsung Galaxy S5, to pass the time before they board their flights.
The Samsung Galaxy S5 will have its presence felt inside Terminal 5 for two weeks, taking over almost every digital screen available.
Vice President of Corporate Marketing at Samsung Electronics UK & Ireland, Russell Taylor said: “We are always looking for ways to maximise brand impact and this activity is testament to that. The partnership with Heathrow Airport and JCDecaux Airport was a one-off opportunity to push the boundaries like no other brand has been allowed to do before.”
Online visitors to the Terminal 5 website will also get a taste for the smartphone, with ‘Terminal Samsung Galaxy S5’ being advertised across online content.
The latest Samsung Galaxy edition was released in the UK in April, offering the latest Android 4.4 Kit Kat operating system and 16MP camera.
The Samsung Galaxy S5 is now available to purchase from Three Mobile, under a wide selection of contract plans.
