Samsung mocks Apple following iPhone 6 unveiling

Last Tuesday, Apple revealed the new iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, with Samsung being one of the first of their rivals to respond. 

Samsung in the past have never been shy of showing what they think of Apple and the unveiling of the iPhone 6 just encouraged them.

Six 30-second videos went viral calling them “It doesn’t take a genius”, which is believed to be mocking the Apple Geniuses. 

The adverts weren’t just to mock their rival, but to promote the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 which was revealed September 6, just a few days before the iPhone 6 was presented. 

While Macworld and YouTube users seem to disapprove of these video adverts, each one has gained over 2 million views. 

Samsung have been well-known to poke fun out of Apple, which began with the launch of the iPhone 4S and mocking those who waited outside for hours to get their hands on the new product.

This again was a publicity stunt for the Samsung Galaxy S3 and became the most-watched tech video in 2012. 

Apple fans fought back when Samsung released another campaign, targeting Apple Maps. The advert shows an SUV with camping gear parked in Sydney’s Australia Square, with a sign saying “Oops, should have got Samsung Galaxy SIII. Get navigation you can trust.”

In revenge, an image circulated the web with the tagline: “Don’t settle for cheap plastic” and giving a very detailed comparison between the iPhone 5 and Galaxy S3. 

So it appears that Apple and Samsung aren’t going to be friends anytime soon then.
