Samsung Galaxy S5 mini to be released this month
Reports have confirmed that the Samsung Galaxy S5 Mini will be launched onto the mobile market later this month.
Boasting smaller dimensions than the Samsung Galaxy S5, the mini version will be available at some point over the next few weeks, but an official date has yet to be revealed.
The Samsung Galaxy S5 mini will first be available in Russia, before making its way across other countries including the UK.
Interestingly, before the mini has even received its official launch date, retailers have already started to sell some of the additional accessories.
The Samsung Galaxy S5 will have the latest Android 4.4 Kit Kat operating system, 4.5-inch Super AMOLED HD touchscreen and 16GB of internal memory.
Besides its dimensions, the model will offer similar features to the original, including the revolutionary fingerprint sensor to unlock the phone.
It’s also IP67 certified, which means it is water resistant in up to one metre of water for 30 minutes.
The Samsung Galaxy S5 mini will be available in four colours: black, white, blue and gold.
